Specialisation is our advantage: our systems, our registry connections and our experience are 100% dedicated to the .nz zone. If you’re after a .com, we’re not your people - but if it ends in .nz, nobody catches it better.

Extensions we catch

ExtensionTypically used for
.nzSecond-level .nz - short, modern, and increasingly the first choice for Kiwi businesses.
.co.nzThe classic New Zealand commercial extension. The workhorse of NZ business online.
.net.nzTraditionally for network providers, open to anyone today.
.org.nzNot-for-profits, clubs, community groups and causes.
.gen.nzGeneral use - personal sites and anything that doesn’t fit elsewhere.
.ac.nzTertiary education and academia.
.school.nzSchools and school communities.
.geek.nzFor the technically inclined. Proudly niche since 2004.
.kiwi.nzAs New Zealand as it gets.

All for the same flat pricing ($30 first-year registration plus a $2.99 catching fee, only on success) - including internationalised names with māori macrons (e.g. māori-name.co.nz).

Extensions we can’t catch

The following .nz extensions are moderated: a moderator controls who may register them, so they can’t be caught at release:

.govt.nz.mil.nz.iwi.nz.health.nz.parliament.nz.cri.nz.māori.nz / .maori.nz

We also can’t take orders for names the registry lists as reserved, conflicted, or otherwise restricted - the order form checks this for you automatically.

Not sure about a specific name?

Type it into the order form - we query the .nz registry live and tell you exactly where the domain stands before you commit to anything.
