How catching works

The fine print (there isn’t much)

No upfront payment
Ordering is free and we don’t ask for payment details. Your account carries a balance; the $32.99 charge ($30 registration + $2.99 catching fee) is added only after a successful catch, and you settle by internet banking within 14 days.
Prices are in New Zealand dollars
We are not currently GST registered, so no GST is added. If that changes we’ll give you notice.
*Domain handover
A caught domain is registered at the moment of the drop (that’s how catching works; there’s no time to ask). The $30 registration component covers that first year. After the catch we contact you to transfer the domain into your name with your preferred .nz registrar.
One catch order per domain
Orders are exclusive: once someone has an active catch order on a domain, it’s theirs. First come, first served - so don’t sit on it.
